I’ve been busy with life and am finally in a spot where I can catch up on what I’ve been buying/selling these past few months. There’s been a lot, so here we go!

Ryzen 7 3700X + ASUS TUF GAMING B550M-PLUS (WI-FI) + Corsair Vengeance RGB 32GB DDR4 3600MHz - $100

AMD Ryzen 7 3700X CPU and Corsair Vengeance 32GB DDR4 in an ASUS TUF GAMING B550M-PLUS (Wi-fi) motherboard

This combo was off Craigslist. The seller had just the CPU + Motherboard for $100. I offered $80 and he accepted. He texted me before meeting up that he could also throw in the 32GB DDR4 for $20, to which I eagerly agreed.

ASRock X470 Master SLI/ac - $25

ASRock X470 Master SLI/ac motherboard

Another Craigslist find. This had been listed for a few weeks without selling and must have slipped through the cracks. When I came across it, list price was $25. I thought was an excellent price and bought without haggling.

ASUS Prime AP201 mATX Case + EVGA Supernova 850 P6 + 2x Noctua NF-F12 PWM 120mm fan + WD Green 2TB HDD - $50

This one was from Facebook Marketplace. The seller had the parts listed for $75 OBO. I offered $40 and he accepted. We were supposed to meet at 4PM, but when I texted to confirm before leaving, I didn’t hear back. He messaged me sometime later apologizing for missing my message because he’d fallen asleep. I didn’t make a big deal of it and proposed to meet later in the evening. He then messaged me again saying that he’d gotten an offer from someone else for $50 and asked if I wanted to match it. I appreciate him being honorable and $50 was still a good price so I agreed.

Even though the fans were Noctua, I generally use ARGB fans in all my flips so I didn’t need them. I ended up listing and selling them for $20 on Facebook Marketplace.

Gaming Desktop - $100

This was another Facebook Marketplace find with the following parts:

Type Part
CPU Ryzen 5 2600X
Motherboard ASRock X370 Pro4
RAM ADATA XPG 3000MHz DDR4 16GB
PSU EVGA Supernova 750 G2
Case NZXT H440

The seller had it listed for $100, which I thought was a good price so I purchased with no negotiation. This is a perfect low-effort flip – slap in a GPU (GTX 1070 or equivalent would be perfect), an SSD and HDD and you can sell for ~$400-500. Unfortunately, I found the NZXT H440 was just too large for my tastes and I ended up selling it for $30 on OfferUp to another PC flipper (his listing using the case popped up on OfferUp a few weeks later).

Ryzen 5 3600X + ASUS PRIME X570-P + 16GB PNY DDR4 3200MHz + 600W Digital Storm Gold - $115

This was an OfferUp listing. The seller had the CPU + Motherboard + RAM listed for $110. I offered $100 and he accepted. On the day of our meet, he messaged asking if I wanted the 600W PSU for $15. I try to get <=600W PSUs for ~$20, so this was a good price and I agreed.

I actually purchased these parts to take with me to Dallas to upgrade my cousin’s PC. He went from an i7-6700K + Gigabyte Z170X-Gaming 7 + 16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 3000MHz + Gigabyte GTX 1070 WINDFORCE 3X to this CPU + Motherboard + RAM combo along with the MSI RTX 2060 Super Ventus from one of my previous hauls.
