Just some things I picked up this week:
Corsair Carbide 175R
Somebody had this listed for $30 on Facebook Marketplace. Since they were located near my parents' place and I was heading down for family dinner anyways, I offered $20 and they accepted. It came with the dust filters, single RGB fan, and SSD trays, but it's missing the hard drive cage. According to Corsair's website, you can get the hard drive cage for $20.99 and hard drive trays for $3.99, but unfortunately the hard drive trays are currently out of stock. Regardless, I can always just use SSDs instead of HDDs in this build, and the case is in otherwise stellar condition. I'm excited to gather the parts to install in this case!
Intel Core i7-7700K
Since I purchased an Intel NUC 9 Extreme for $320 on OfferUp with the intention of using it as an HTPC, I'm planning on converting my current media PC into an ITX gaming PC that I can sell. It's currently running an Intel Core i5-6500T + Gigabyte GA-H270N-WIFI, an Nvidia GTX 950, and 16GB of G.Skill Ripjaws V 3000MHz DDR4 all inside a tiny Silverstone Sugo SG13. The RAM is definitely overkill since with a 6th gen processor, the motherboard only supports 2133MHz. Luckily, I have a spare 16GB of 2400MHz DDR4 laying around, but to use it, the motherboard requires a 7th gen processor. I came across someone selling this i7-7700K on Ebay for $60 Buy It Now price. I offered $55 and they accepted, so I ended up getting it for ~$65 after shipping + tax. I installed it and the 2400MHz RAM and everything works as expected. I also swapped out the GTX 950 for the other AMD RX Vega 56 I had laying around. Now I just need to finish setting up my NUC so I can swap media PCs (can't interrupt the gf's Call the Midwife binging)!
